Yango Deli is searching for a Category Manager, to oversee the selection, pricing, and overall management of a category of products.

Responsibilities:

Business planning:

• Own the A to Z planning & buying process, propose improvements and align to best practices;
• Develop plans on revenue, profit, inventory and purchase amount for the category in charge;
• Manage inventory health by ensuring efficient inventory flows and defining promotional campaigns.

Project Management:

• Work with various internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements that affect purchasing and demand forecasting;
• Troubleshoot and drive resolution for systemic issues that reduce the accuracy of system-generated forecasts;
• Work with buyers and plan seasonal products to reduce errors in forecasting;
• Work with cross-functional teams to create promotional programs and collaborate with suppliers;
• Passionately advocate for the customer and category.

Requirements:

• Relevant FMCG experience in different categories in retail companies;
• Relevant university degree in business or engineering;
• Proven, successful supply chain professional with 3+ years’ experience in demand forecasting and buying or top-tier consulting;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extensive business acumen;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English;
• Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed;
• Advanced Excel skills.
