Position Summary

As a 2D Artist at Gliding Deer, you will work closely with various stakeholders to translate each game’s asset into visual realms. You will collaborate with various Gliding Deer departments and teams to create stunning visuals within a fast-paced environment while ensuring they align with the Gliding Deer brand.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, present, and execute your ideas from A to Z: Lead your own creation.
• Create a playful, intuitive cohesive look & feel, and overall user experience for our products.
• Prioritize work within a dynamic environment while meeting tight schedules.
• Create functional and aesthetic briefs, adapt to game art style, and maintain consistency with the overall design.
• Design pop-ups, banners, push-icons, and in-game art for the project: UI elements, icons, and items.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop - Must.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of composition, form, colors, light, and shadow.
• Experience in Adobe graphic programs (After Effects experience - bonus).
• Ability to create accurate concept sketches.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of UX/UI principles.
• Conceptual thinking and storytelling abilities.
• Illustration skills, especially in character design and background/layout illustration.
• Receptive to feedback and creative thinking.
• A strong digital portfolio with examples of the above skills.
• Good command of the English language.
