Head of Data Science

Our Data Science group seeks a strong, collaborative leader with sharp technical skills to lead our highly educated and motivated teams. The candidate needs to have a proven track record of innovative development and leadership. This role provides leadership for the company’s customer behavior's engine and includes Computer-Vision, NLP and ML methodologies.

The Person

• The individual will be passionate about data annotation efficiency, delivering business value and development of the next generation of the company’s Visual and Textual suites.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize, and balance multiple work streams to tight schedules
• Both written and verbal communication with the ability to clearly and concisely summarize program and problem status to provide executive team with important insight against product objectives through excellent writing and presentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a machine learning group consisting of data scientists, machine learning engineers and data annotation specialists.
• Development of ML models to continue deliver the product roadmap
• Work closely with the backend group to fast and dependency free deployment of ML models
• Answering ongoing business needs for existing customers satisfaction
• Oversee and improve the efficiency of the data annotation teams and customer facing teams.
• Go on calls in order to understand and answer ongoing customer and prospect needs

Required Experience

· Consistent track record of managing a robust team (preferably a group) to generate successful products

• Experience in ML model development from A to Z
• Background in Computer-Vision
• Relevant academic background

Preferred Experience

• Technical expertise in one or more of the following: Caffe, Darknet, Tensorflow, MongoDB, Python
