Senior Software and Automation Engineer

NVIDIA is an industry leader with groundbreaking developments in High-Performance Computing & Networking, Artificial Intelligence, and Visualization. We are now looking for an outstanding, creative & hardworking engineer to join our team!

You will be part of the Post Silicon SW Tool & Automation team in NVIDIA Networking Business Unit, a team responsible for the infrastructure, GUI tools, and all SW-related applications of the high-speed communication products, and be working with other teams such as the circuit design, digital design, lab & firmware to ensure outstanding products and superb automated tools.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop software and infrastructure to control the hardware of NVIDIA products, with a focus on mixed-signal IP
• Collaborate with hardware designers to implement hardware circuits in software
• Verify software implementations using digital verification environments during the pre-silicon stages
• Troubleshoot and resolve SerDes-related issues in post-silicon environments
• Work closely with architects, designers, and verification teams to achieve project goals
  
  

What We Need To See

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in relevant field
• Strong knowledge of hardware, particularly SerDes and Optics
• Familiarity with Python programming and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  
  

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Experience in controlling and verifying complex SerDes systems, and understanding mixed-signal designs
• Proficiency in Python programming, object-oriented programming (OOP), and design patterns
• Knowledge of communication protocols
• Experience with version control tools like GIT
• Background in verification at Unit/Sub-system/SOC level and expertise in SystemVerilog
