Change Implementation Engineer, Manufacturing

Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality that utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death.

Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe, and Israel.

Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, and other types of solid cancers.

In accordance with the company’s vast increase in new products and continued qualification of second source manufacturers, there is a growing necessity to control and improve the company’s project implementation process for supplier’s change requests and for newly designed products which are rapidly increasing as the business evolves.

The Change Implementation Engineer will be responsible for the concentration of the manufacturer’s change activities within company’s internal departments and within company’s product life management system (Agile PLM).

The Change Implementation Engineer will serve as the NPI’s department’s focal point for changes' proper implementation and will manage the periodical production change control board meetings (PCCB meetings) in order to better coordinate the change release throughout the supply chain processes and to ensure on-time release and implementation of the different projects at hand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for ensuring overall adequate product implementation processes
• Responsible for supporting activities related to product manufacturing and supply chain.
• Responsible for supporting product release in the various systems (Agile change orders, SAP).
• Work with various departments in the transition of newly designed or clinical products into the market
• Concentrate and manage the PCCB meetings – production change control board meetings
• Assist in a rapid and ongoing capacity increase of newly designed product releases and new suppliers' qualification change orders
• Collaborate and coordinate with relevant functions from the different departments as needed, and maintain knowledge on product status and ongoing release process.
• Responsible for updating and complying with relevant work instructions within department responsibilities.
  
  

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree, in industrial engineering, Information Systems or equivalent B.sc degree
• Equivalent experience considered instead of degree
• Knowledge:
• At least 2-3 years experience with NPI and change control processes in Hi-Tech Companies with an advantage in the Medical devices industries
• Proven experience in manufacturing policies, processes, and procedures as a user and author.
• Highly organized and responsible
• Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
• Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited or no supervision
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
• Good writing capabilities for technical documents in English
• Good communication skills
• Experience in Medical Devices or Pharma – advantage
• Working experience with Oracle Agile PLM – advantage
• English – a must
• Additional language - advantage
