Electronics Repair Technician

Silicom is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician to join the Production Repairing Department in Yokneam. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux and traffic management, and be skilled in debugging using SPI, I2C, and GPIO protocols.

Requirements:

• Certified Practical Engineer in electronics, IT, or similar fields.
• Proficient in the English language.
• Highly motivated, self-disciplined, and eager to learn.

Advantage:

• Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python.
• Skilled in electronics repair and diagnostics.
• Competent with measuring tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters, along with experiment design and execution, emphasizing safety and statistical accuracy of results.
• Adept at documentation practices.

Occupation:

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic devices, encompassing a variety of systems and components.
• Collaborate with repair technicians and engineers to diagnose issues as hardware or software-related.
• Simulate problems to aid technicians in streamlined troubleshooting and programming.
• Utilize the Linux operating system for installation, configuration, and upkeep.
• Manage network traffic and analyze data packets.
• Interface with devices using SPI, I2C, and GPIO protocols.
• Optimize and run Bash scripts for task automation.
