Cloud Security Network Engineer

As a Cloud Security Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of client’s cloud and network security solutions related to the on-prem and cloud technologies while playing a vital role in protecting client's data.

This job includes ensuring the operation, security policies and practices are implemented and enforced, including network security testing & reports and implementation of new products or improvements to existing and current products.

Cloud Security Network Engineer will also be working with CISO team, Cyber security and Infrastructure teams as a technical resource in all technical matters, such as educating and replying on issues ranging from features, functionality to integration, specifications, and installation.

Cloud Security Network Engineer will also provide support on Incident Response on security incidents and involves collaborating cross-functionally with analysts, engineers, and data scientists to achieve continuous improvement in cyber defense/resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and maintenance of Cloud and On-prem Network Security tools.
• Security by design thinking, and implement the Network and cloud Security solutions, participating in installation and support other IT teams over on-going activities/projects for security aspects.
• Tests and implements systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
• Management of system performance, capacity, service quality.
• Responsible for the thorough documentation of implementations, via technical documentation.
• Apply adept understanding and experience with systems automation platforms and Cloud technologies over Amazon and Azure.
• Interpret security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to relevant stakeholders ranging from business leaders to security engineers and CISO.
• Multi-disciplinary in implementing and operating Cyber Security controls using Network and cloud security tools.
• Execute security architectures for cloud cloud/hybrid systems.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
• Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices into the company’s Cloud offerings.
• Working hours: Sun-Thu: 8-17 or 9-18 (overtime then within legal maximum).
• Location: Hybrid work from client office in Beer Sheva, Israel and from home (according to client managerial decision)

General Requirements/Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in operating Cloud Security tools such as Palo-alto, and Azure security management, AWS security, Cloud compliance tools, Monitoring with deep understand over big organization.
• 3+ years’ experience in operating Security tools such as NGTP Firewalls, and Firewall Management, Compliance tools, WAF, etc.
• Extensive technical know-how of network devices and the security capabilities, or any other security networking hardware or software tools:
• Knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls is required
• Knowledge of Cloud security on AWS and Azure, including associated security tools (e.g. Palo Alto) is required
• Well versed with advanced network security devices, cloud security, data center devices and network/cloud management systems.
• Working with Cloud Platforms of leading vendors (AWS and Microsoft)
• Hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuring, integrating and supporting the network security with Checkpoint, Proxy such as Bluecoat, Monitoring tool such as StealthWatch, Compliance tool such as Algosec, Backbox or other backup solution and Sandblast is desired.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as WAN connectivity, transport types and protocols, and experience with wireless technology and cloud technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems or Computer engineering/science or equivalent knowledge
• It is advantage for CISSP or equivalent certification and security-related industry certifications with CCNA and Checkpoint and AWS Associate or Azure Associate Certifications.
• English is a must
