Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of our comprehensive information security program. In this critical role, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, driving the company's cybersecurity initiatives and ensuring the protection of our valuable assets and data.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust information security strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and risk management framework
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of security controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization against cyber threats
• Continuously monitor the threat landscape, identify and assess potential risks, and implement proactive measures to mitigate them
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless integration of security practices across the organization
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement agencies to stay informed of the latest security trends and best practices
• Lead and manage the information security team, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to the executive leadership team on security-related matters, including budgeting and resource allocation
• Ensure the organization's compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST)
• Develop and deliver comprehensive security awareness training programs for employees to enhance their understanding of cybersecurity risks and responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide information security programs
• Extensive knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO, COBIT)
• Expertise in risk assessment, vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations
• Strong technical skills and understanding of emerging technologies, security tools, and industry trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with executives, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and translate complex security concepts into business-aligned solutions
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable
