Lead Quality Engineer

Wishi provides an online guided shopping experience for the client. We collect data to inform the expert to provide personalized recommendations based on their client’s needs and preferences. With Wishi, the right product is always pulled for the right user – who, in turn, buys smarter and with higher intent.

We are seeking a talented lead Quality engineer who will lead Wishi’s Quality future and will work closely with the product managers and tech team to lead our digital products. 

What you'll do:

• Define the QA strategy, approach, standards, and execution across our portfolio.
• Raise awareness and build a strong quality mindset within the engineering organization and the team.
• Oversee the product release quality and risks.
• Design, implement, and integrate automated test plans and frameworks into the CI/CD pipeline using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and efficient automated test scripts.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
• Participate in manual testing activities as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation.
• Work with product managers, developers, and development managers to prioritize quality and testing opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Who you are:

• 8+ years of commercial experience, including at least 5 years in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and executing automated tests using scripting languages and frameworks.
• Understanding of test strategies and experience with backend API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
• Experience in E2E testing using JS engines (e.g., Playwright, Cypress).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and mobile app testing (e.g., Appium) is an advantage.
• A bachelor’s degree in CS or a related field is an advantage.
