- An innovative start-up is looking for a professional experimental physicist that experts in calibration and analysis of Fourier optics.
- Improve and optimize calibration procedures for our laser-based platform.
- Utilize and develop new calibration and control algorithms for the laser system.
- Design and optimize Diffractive Optical Elements (DOE) and Spatial Light Modulators (SLM) holograms.
- Build and validate physical models simulating the laser system, to advance our understanding of the underlying physics.
- Proficiency in Fourier optics and hands-on experience in optical systems – a must
- 5-year experience in optical R&D groups in industry or academy, at least 3 of them in relevant fields (e.g. laser systems, interferometry or beam shaping etc.).
- Ph.D. /M.Sc. in physics/EE/equivalent fields (Ph.D. - advantage).
- Hands-on experience with SLM or DOE design and implementation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct independent research, take initiatives, and be a team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Hebrew & English).
- Fluency in Python/MATLAB.
