Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods in our warehouse facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or packing slips.
• Unload trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the warehouse supervisor.
• Prepare and label outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and staging orders for delivery.
• Load trucks and containers with outgoing shipments in a safe and efficient manner.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory by properly storing goods, labeling shelves, and conducting regular cycle counts.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, disposing of trash, and maintaining storage racks.
• Operate warehouse equipment and machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, such as stock replenishment, stock rotation, and inventory reconciliation.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff and team members to ensure efficient workflow and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for counting and recording inventory.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with coworkers and supervisors.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work environments and tasks.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
