Green Course - מגמת ירוקה is the largest activist environmental volunteer organization in Israel. Established in 1997, Green Course leads public campaigns for environmental policy change and generates bottom-up pressure through community organizing and participatory civic engagement. Our mission is to inspire the public to take an active role in changing environmental policies through education for leadership and active civic involvement. We have 300 activists and volunteers, including students and citizens of all ages, who believe in taking personal responsibility for our society and environment.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Media Team at Green Course. The Head of Media Team will be responsible for developing and implementing media strategies, planning media campaigns, managing communication channels, and executing social media marketing and public relations activities. The role is primarily located in Tel Aviv, and partly from home.

Qualifications

• Media Strategy and Media Planning skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in social media marketing and public relations
• Ability to think creatively and strategically
• Knowledge of environmental issues and sustainability
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in Hebrew and English
• Experience in leadership roles or community organizing is a plus
