Integration Engineer - Student

Dan-Tech Energy specializes in the development of portable, rechargeable battery power systems. The company's portable battery cases are used in many fields as for military and marine applications, light electric vehicles, reusable energy systems and more. Its programmable battery management systems are designed to enhance the reliability and runtime of smart battery packs by providing more accurate battery monitoring and data analytics.

Dan-Tech's manufacturing processes are based on exacting environmental standards, and its battery maintenance and reconditioning services promote extended battery life, reducing the number of batteries that end up in landfills.

The company's offices are located in Tel-Aviv and Berlin with manufacturing facilities in Israel, Germany, and China.

We are looking for an electrical engineering student for a technician / integrator position in the laboratory with a desire and passion to learn and develop in the field, to gain new knowledge in energy storage technologies and to help us develop the next generation of battery management systems (BMS).

Responsibilities

• Performing tests using special equipment for production, quality control and research.

• Construction of complex battery cases according to electrical and mechanical specifications.

• Verification of development of electric circuits. Later integration in the planning phase.

• Application and programming of electric circuits.

• Handling and documentation of units returned from the customer.

• Construction and design of testing equipment for the production line.

Qualifications

• B.Sc Electrical Engineer student with minimum 3 semesters left - mandatory.

• Part-time job(flexible up to full-time).

• Ability to work at least 25 hours a week from the office (Tel-Aviv) - mandatory.

• Relevant industrial experience - an advantage.

• Experience in soldering and knowledge of electronics - an advantage.

• Ability to program hardware and software - an advantage.

• English, speaking and writing at a high level - mandatory.

• Control of computer applications (OFFICE, etc.) - mandatory.

• Open minded, ability to initiate and implement ideas.
