Frontend Engineer Team Lead - OS

Job Description

As a Team Lead for the Business Dashboard core platform team, you’ll be responsible for one of the biggest micro-frontend platforms at Wix that enables scaled development of applications and components. You’ll be a part of our effort to increase dev velocity, while enabling a consistent and smooth management experience for Wix users.

In this role you will:

• Manage a highly skilled and experienced frontend team
• Build the team vision and roadmap, enable decision making, prioritize tasks and take charge of people management
• Do hands-on development work with your team, as well as mentor and advise them, and share knowledge between your own team and others in the group
• Design complicated platform architectures that require deep technical understanding of internal and external systems and frameworks
• Provide scalable and high-performing solutions across-Wix and its platforms
• Collaborate with almost all Wix groups, with different disciplines and stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and prioritizing them into actionable plans
  
  

Qualifications:

• A Frontend Engineer with 5+ years experience leading and implementing frontend infrastructure projects in large, complex environments, and 3+ years of experience in team management
• Expertise in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, and popular frameworks like React and Node.js
• Deep understanding of web performance optimization, browser rendering behavior, and modern frontend build tools
• Great leadership skills, visionary thinking, with a can-do positive mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results in established timeframes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deep dive into technical details, and diagnose and resolve complex frontend infrastructure issues efficiently
• Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest frontend and infrastructure trends, and a willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices
  
  

About The Team

We are the Wix OS platform team. We build the dashboard platform that enables Wix users to manage their business. The business dashboard is one of the largest and highly visited platforms at Wix, integrated with almost all Wix core systems, platforms and products. We focus on Wix internal and external developers that wish to integrate with the platform and provide services to Wix users.

We focus on building a micro-frontend platform that provides general APIs for hundreds of products over the dashboard, infrastructure for web components rendering and generic platform solutions that remove boilerplate code.
