Linux System Administrator For an excellent global hi-tech company

There is an initiative from engineering groups to support and setup clusters that can serve DevOps, HPC, and software development on Linux platform. This project requires to design, architect and support an on-prem and/or cloud solution that will include various components such as Automation (Terraform), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Self-Service (such as Morpheus), HPC, Cloud etc.

Responsibilities on the above solution include designing and provisioning, operations and support, continual innovation, ation and transition to operations team if possible

What your job will look like

• Strategize with IT Team on solution feasibility and conceptual design of DevOPs and Linux Infrastructure
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams from various constituencies.
• Responsible for the technical content (architecture and design), integrity, quality of solution and support.
• Investigate and trouble-shoot the issues.
• Position also requires communicating with different functional groups like Engineering, IT and Vendors.

What you will need to succeed

• 3+ years’ experience in designing and architecting DevOps/Cloud solution with solid grasp on Linux, Network, Security, Windows, Hypervisor, File storage systems as well as corporate IT infrastructure.
• Hands on experience on Linux System Administration – Any flavor of Linux
• Good knowledge on Automation (Terraform), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Self-Service platform (such as Morpheus) etc.
• Knowledge about implementing multi-staged CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Writing Ansible & Python scripts for deployment automation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields
• At least 3 years hands-on experience as Linux Administration with good grasp on DevOps
• Knowledge of Windows Server OS, Virtualization, High-Performance Compute Cluster, Infrastructure used in jfrog, GIT, GitHub etc., build and release process automation, concepts for DevSecOps, ITIL foundations for change management and compliance - advantage
