Investment Operations Team Member (Maternity Leave Replacement 6-8 Months)

A leading hedge fund in Tel Aviv is searching for a highly efficient and systems-oriented full-time operations department team member. 

Responsibilities: 

• Calculate daily NAVs {Net Asset Value) and provide reports to portfolio managers and traders.

• Process end-of-day trade allocations across multiple systems along with the operations team.

• Monitor trade affirmations and resolve trade breaks in a timely manner.

• Trade matching and reconciliation of back-office and front-office systems.

• Communicate processing and settlement issues with traders and brokers.

• Work closely with the operations team, Portfolio Managers, traders, and COO.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or another related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in brokerage and/or hedge fund operations, and knowledge of trade settlement is an advantage.

• General understanding of the equity markets and how they operate.

• Keen attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues before they arise.

• Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team while also being self-sufficient.

• Intuitive and resourceful problem solver.

• Capability to implement creative technology solutions to improve/optimize automated workflows.

• Teachable and capable of picking up new systems/topics quickly and easily (experience such as Danel

an advantage).

• Fluent in English - MUST.
