Grants & Development Associate

The Grants & Development Associate is an integral team member within the Resource Development Department of Save a Child's Heart. This is a dynamic role that involves multiple facets of development, requiring determination and creativity, organization and communication skills. Responsibilities

1. Prospecting and writing LOIs, grant proposals and reporting for foundations, private donors, institutional, governmental, organizational entities - such as EU, foundations and charitable trusts, Federations etc. This includes management of the process from prospect research, initial approach application / proposal writing and submission (coordination with relevant stakeholders), relationship building, collection of project data and information from the medical team and other departments, report writing and submission.
2. Communication with affiliate offices abroad, foundation or grant managers, donors, CSR.
3. Grant and donation compliance.
4. Donor prospect research.
5. Writing / editing various types of content – Project proposal documents, donor reports, annual reports, brochures, translations of articles, website content, occasionally newsletters.
6. Assisting the Director of Resource Development in additional tasks as required.
7. Presenting to visiting groups and at events/conferences as may be required.

Qualifications

1. English speaker - Bilingual proficiency - Excellent English writing, proofing, and editing skills for varied types of content.
2. Conversational Hebrew
3. 2-3 years relevant experience in Resource Development - grant writing, reporting and compliance
4. Previous experience in donor relationship and prospect management
5. Knowledge and ability to work with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & Word, OneDrive, Google Suite
6. Ability to provide references from previous employment
