Job Description:

We are seeking an ideal candidate to drive the technical vision of a new game from scratch. This role involves developing the technical strategy and roadmap, and handling team recruitment and development. The successful candidate will have experience in developing, launching, and supporting a multiplayer game from inception to release, participating in planning and budgeting, and building a team of programmers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the project's technical strategy.
• Create the game's architecture.
• Coordinate the work of programmers and game designers, develop requirements, and make key technical decisions regarding the game's aspects.
• Actively participate in team recruitment.
• Own the game's technical state.
• Make decisions on forming the project's technical stack around Unreal Engine.

Requirements:

• A passion for games!
• ~5 years of experience as a Technical Director or Lead Programmer.
• Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and its tools.
• Excellent knowledge of C++.
• Experience working on a multiplayer game.
• A released game in your portfolio (from concept to release).
• Understanding of live ops and associated challenges.
• Proficiency in English for voice and written communication.
