Assistant Financial Controller

Open position for Assistant Controller in Kyriat Gat!

We seek an Assistant Controller to join our Israeli accounting team in Kyriat Gat.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and company policies.

* Direct and review the team on day-to-day financial operations, AP and AR, ensuring all accounting staff adhere to established policies, routines, and procedures.

* Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of the company and its subsidiary.

* Analyze financial data comparing to the budget and provide insights to support decision-making.

* Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts and accruals.

* Assist in improving, developing, and documenting accounting and finance-related policies, procedures, and internal controls.

* Take part in implementing new processes in the ERP system (Priority).

* Collaborate with other departments within the company and with external partners.

* Manage and comply with tax regulations and filings.

* Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

* Implement SOX regulations in the company.

* Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements:

* B.A. in Accounting.

* Internship at one of the Big 4 (a plus).

* At least 1-3 years experience as an Assistant Controller (experience in a manufacturing company is a big plus).

* ERP Systems experience – Priority (a plus).

* Bookkeeping experience (a big plus).

* Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with the ability to work independently.

* Proficient with Excel and Office skills.
