Backend Data Team Leader

We are looking for a Backend hands-on Team Leader to join the SaaS team in our Tel-Aviv site.

What will you do?

• Lead and build a team from scratch of Data Engineers in an agile environment.
• Build the world’s most advanced analytics platform tuned to data protection.
• Design and implement services on top of AWS stack.
• Be part of the R&D management team while still being hands-on
• Shape Agile culture, processes, and development methodology.

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

• BSc in Computer Science/ related field
• Hands-on experience and deep knowledge in AWS
• At least 4 years’ experience as a Backend/Data-Engineer Team Leader
• 7+ years of experience developing server-side services in Java
• Architectural vision
• Proven experience in designing and managing (owning!) Data related infrastructure (Data lakes, ETL pipelines, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge of design, implementation and test of large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with big data databases e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB or Elasticsearch
• Experience with relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Great interpersonal skills
