The External Relations Division of World WIZO is seeking to hire a full-time fundraising associate in WIZO’s headquarters in central Tel Aviv.

WIZO is one of Israel's largest and most diverse NGOs in the fields of social welfare, education and gender rights. Both the content and work are quite diverse (not only grant writing), our team is outstanding, and the cause is deeply rewarding.

Candidates should have mother tongue English, fluent Hebrew, and a great attitude.

Job Description:

• Writing project proposals, donor reports, grant requests, letters, correspondence, presentations, marketing materials and other content - in English.
• Providing support and liaising with WIZO’s federations (support groups) around the world.
• Translation of diverse content from Hebrew to English
• Taking part in site visits to WIZO institutions, with donors and supporters
• Participation in project development and diverse projects, initiative, events and conferences.

Qualifications:

• English mother tongue, with excellent writing skills.
• Fluent Hebrew (speaking and reading), and ability to translate from Hebrew to English.
• Mother tongue Hebrew – an advantage.
• Highly motivated, service oriented, with excellent interpersonal abilities
• Strong attention to detail.
• Prior experience in resource development for non-profit organizations is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in international sales – an advantage.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office software is a must.
• Proficiency in graphics software such as Canva and other content creation platforms – an advantage.
• Well organized, with excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
