DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer – Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize various environments, including server installations, resource provisioning, and upkeep on cloud platforms (primarily AWS) and data centers.
• Develop automation scripts and monitoring tools to enhance system performance.
• Manage backups, security, storage, and cloud-based infrastructure administration.
• Document procedures and best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve system and application issues.
• Research, test, and document new technologies (POCs).
• Oversee IT resources and SaaS services.
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for both local and remote teams.

• Experience: 3-5 years in DevOps, with hands-on work in cloud environments (primarily AWS) and large-scale production systems.
• Networking: Strong understanding of DNS, routing, firewalls, and NAT, with troubleshooting experience.
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and infrastructure management.
• System Administration: Expertise in Linux server setup, configuration, and maintenance. Familiarity with Windows domain servers, Active Directory, and Office 365 is an advantage.
• Containers & CI/CD: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform).
• Databases: Knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, Redshift, Elasticsearch, or DynamoDB for administration and troubleshooting.
• Availability: Ability to respond to alerts and system issues outside business hours when necessary.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and clear communication in English.
