Role Description

Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) as a Service is a senior consultant responsible for the customer organization’s overall security posture. This includes managing the overall IT, information, and data security for multiple client organizations.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years or more experience in the field of information security, cloud, IT risk management.
• Proven track record of managing multiple high stakes projects simultaneously 
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience working in a consultative or advisory capacity, often focusing on providing expert advice and guidance over just executing security measures.
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).
• Familiarity with various industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements including, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2 etc.
• Experience and understanding of corporate governance and strategies
• Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders of varying technical understanding, including C-level executives and boards of directors.
• Experience with cloud computing across virtualized environments.
• Practical experience of computer operating systems such as MS Windows, MacOS, UNIX/Linux, and corporate endpoint management.
• An overall understanding of the application security including (S)SDLC, scripting and source code programming languages
