Leading a team of procurement agents and support Chevron EMED branch ongoing needs for purchasing of goods and services for the local Facilities Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Operations.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Main domains: Facilities Engineering projects, services.
• High Technical understandings in the following categories: IT, Security, maintenance facilities. Additional fields of procurement such as chemicals, fuel, pipes, filters, water systems, mechanics (and electro-mechanics), construction, and electronics - advantage.
• Service oriented attitude and a team player.
• Responsible of executing purchase orders via the SAP system.
• Sourcing, negotiating, and engaging with supplier mainly in Israel. Working to build price lists and commercial accords with suppliers. Europe and the USA mainly (China less relevant).
• Similar relevant companies: Bazan, Adama, ICL, Tashan, Gadot, Mekorot, Elbit/Taas, Efcon, Electra, Natgaz, Refael, IEC, and Halliburton.
• Interact with pier purchasing professionals worldwide (mainly USA).
• Assisting the company constant cost reduction efforts.
• Ongoing interaction with technical professionals at Company facilities - both onshore and offshore.
• Improving relevant processes and procedures.
• Engaged in Chevron efforts to increase local content.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant studies – must
• Fluent in business English & Hebrew - must
• About 2-3 years of experience in the relevant fields (IT/security procurement) - advantage
• Experience in similar position from related industries – water, construction, fabrication, chemical, heavy industry - advantage
• Experience with projectile oriented activities - advantage
• Knowledge of the oil & gas industry – advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the company and external parties
• Team player, but able to work independently
• Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point – Mandatory
• Experienced with SAP - advantage
  
  

• The position is located in Israel.
• Normal office environment in Herzliya offices with occasional meetings at supplier’s facilities (Hybrid according to Company Policy).
