Payroll Specialist- 9 Months

In this role, you will be responsible for executing on the Israel Payroll process, bringing an in-depth understanding of Payroll systems, processes, and legislative rules. This role requires emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions while providing coverage and support as needed. Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvement. Promote “Best in Class” service while developing effective relationships and working cross functionally with internal teams and suppliers. You will partner with our payroll supplier and assist with various payroll matters for Israel, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, internal policies and processes. You will be required in-depth knowledge of payroll processes and systems, including Workday, T&A systems, the in-house payroll input system and various 3rd party data feeds and platforms used for payroll data collection, Time & Attendance and Benefits management.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the quality delivery of multiple payroll processes and service to the businesses:

• Respond to and manage payroll queries via ticketing system coming from the company colleagues, managers and HRM's in a timely, and professional manner. Correctly administers payroll processes.

• Maintain quality of work based on service delivery metrics in relation to outsourced payroll.

• Payroll Compliance: ensure accurate payroll inputs and checking payroll outputs, arising from multiple HR processes across the Israel payrolls within the company.

• Data Analysis: Collaborate with HR and Business teams to gather relevant input data, perform analyses, and reconcile payroll to ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly (payroll) and annual returns.

• You will have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework and you will consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.

• Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures (payroll).

• Lead the collection of required compensation data for annual personal income tax return season for expats and other employees authorised for company-funded tax support.

This role requires experience in the Human Resources & Payroll Service Delivery. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)

• Adaptability: Willingness to embrace challenges and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, and other accounting/tax software is a plus.
