DevOps Team Leader

For a global tech company!

What you'll do:

• Own team delivery, lead both technical and project aspects, and practice Agile/Scrum routines.
• Manage all aspects of the team, including coaching and mentoring. Establish values such as collaboration, communication, service consciousness, and motivation.
• Hands-on experience.
• Handle technical challenges like performance, scale, security, and live production issues.
• Collaborate closely with other DevOps team leaders.
• Collaborate with the R&D team leads and directors to optimize service performance, deployment, reliability, failover, and scale.
• Oversee the team’s deliverables, design, and architecture.

Position Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles with a minimum of 2 years of management experience.
• Strong management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong track record of working with one of the major cloud providers - Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub Actions).
• Proven experience working in a production environment.
• Solid experience with containerized environments and microservices (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent Bash/Shell/Python/Go scripting skills
