Title: R&D Technician

Reports to: Project Manager

Location: Yoqneam, Israel

Microbot is seeking an experienced R&D Technician. The successful candidate will join the company , developing a multidisciplinary medical device (Mechanical, Electronics and Software)  and will report to the Project manager.

Main Responsibilities:

The candidate will be part of the R&D team and will support: R&D, Engineering and Production related activities, throughout the entire product development phases, such as: testing for a complex multidisciplinary robotic system: Mechanics, Hardware, Software– ensuring the device performs according to the specifications, propose design improvements, problem solving, new feature design, production line support.

·      Responsible for executing complete device testing (hands-on)

·      Participate in failure root cause analysis and problem-solving process (R&D and production related)

·      Support device assembly line: hands on assembly when required, supervision, training, suggestions for improvements , support design of assembly line jigs for testing and for assembly

·      Participate in the process of new feature design and testing (as part of the R&D team)

Requirements:

·      Former experience in the industry - an advantage

·      Good technical skills

·      Hands-on capabilities, mechanical assemblies

·      Highly organized- must

·      Technical approach

·      Fluent in English

·      Excellent interpersonal skills

·      Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·      Technical writing skills (in English)-an advantage

·      Driving license- mandatory
