Microbot Medical develops robotic devices in the interventional endovascular space that provides doctors and surgeons with new technological capabilities to improve a patient’s health, comfort, and quality of life.

As a controller at Microbot Medical, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success and growth of our innovative technologies and building the company’s position in the robotic surgery space. Microbot is located in Yoqneam, Israel and Boston, MA. USA

Main Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for the management and reporting of the financials for both divisions in Israel and the United States. They will work closely with the CFO and the US Operations team. This will involve the application of accounting and financial literacy skills, , and creative problem solving to deliver high quality work product.

• Preparation of the consolidate financial statements based on US GAAP & related SEC guidance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Act as a corporate focal point to accounting teams worldwide.
• Assist with financial controls and Sox compliance.
• Budget tracking and maintaining an analysis of planned vs. actual.
• Coordinate with external auditors, bookkeepers, banks, and other third-party vendors.
• Prepare domestic tax reports and assist in international tax return preparation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, out of which at least 2 years as a controller or assistant controller in a global public high-tech organization in growth stage.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in US GAAP.
• CPA with Big 4 experience – a must.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
• Excellent and fluent English (written and verbal).
• Excellent Excel and Office skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced global company, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
