Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team. If you are passionate about quality assurance and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the company's main products including web, desktop applications, and Chrome extensions.
• Perform thorough manual testing of REST APIs using tools like Postman.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements, design comprehensive test strategies, and ensure high-quality releases.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Utilize Testrail to document and track test cases, defects, and test results.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by testing against both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Identify, document, and track defects and logical security vulnerabilities, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
• Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in manual software testing.
• Proven expertise in testing REST APIs with Postman.
• Proficiency in writing and executing NoSQL queries; knowledge of SQL databases is a plus.
• Experience testing web applications; knowledge of desktop applications and Chrome extensions is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Testrail or equivalent test management tools.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Experience working with products that are in production and have paying customers
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience coding scripts is a plus.
