Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership through Upwork: Directly manage and lead remote development teams organized through Upwork, ensuring that team members are aligned with our project goals and deliver on expectations efficiently.
• System Architecture: Architect and oversee the development process for both backend and frontend components of our platform, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable systems.
• Security Oversight: Develop and enforce best practices for software security, safeguarding all data and transactions against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Continuous Development: Lead the daily operations of developing new features and refining existing ones, prioritizing rapid deployment and iterative improvement.
• Strategic Planning: Design and implement a coherent technological vision for the platform, aligning with the broader strategic objectives of the company.

Qualifications:

• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing remote teams, particularly through platforms like Upwork, with a successful track record of project completion and team management.
• Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge in system architecture with hands-on experience in developing and managing large scale web applications, including both frontend and backend technologies.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Security Proficiency: Strong understanding of the latest in cybersecurity practices and technologies to protect systems and data effectively.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to tackling challenges and delivering solutions.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively articulating complex technical strategies to a wide range of audiences.
