Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team as our first designer. You will have full ownership of the product design process, collaborating closely with all company stakeholders, including engineers and executive leadership, to create intuitive and innovative designs that meet user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Design Process: Lead the entire product design process with full ownership, from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final execution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the CPO, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Zero to One Development: Engage in zero to one product development, creating new features and products from scratch.
• Customer-Facing: Design solutions that are highly customer-facing, ensuring that user needs and feedback are at the forefront of the design process.
• Conceptualization: Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design challenges.
• Wireframes and Prototypes: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Design Systems: Maintain and improve our design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across our platform.
• Research and Testing: Use quantitative and qualitative data tools to research, track, and measure design flows. Participate in user research and testing to ensure designs meet user needs.
• User Advocacy and Behavior: Advocate for the user by understanding user behavior and incorporating insights into the design process to enhance user experience.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders, including executives, on design decisions, progress, and outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: 5 years of experience in product design with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
• SaaS Platforms: Experience in data visualization and working on complex SaaS platforms. (Experience in the fintech industry is a plus.)
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating design skills, process, and impact on business objectives.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present designs and sell solutions to various stakeholders.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to participate in high-level strategy and vision discussions, thinking about both product strategy and design execution.
• Design Trends: Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, UX patterns, techniques, and technologies.
• Fast-Paced Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• User Behavior Understanding: Strong understanding of user behavior and ability to translate insights into design improvements.
