R&D Lab Engineer

OVERVIEW

Vessi Medical develops innovative approach product in the field of cryogenic therapeutics.

As an R&D Lab Engineer, you will be part of the R&D team, conducting research experiments, participate in design, and contribute to improving life with fascinating and complex medical innovative solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Designing and testing (V&V) new medical procedures, equipment and devices in lab and pre-clinical setups.

·      Work closely with R&D and clinical team members

·      maintaining equipment in lab and studies

·      writing reports and documentation for relevant activities

·      execute lab testing and improvement of test processes in respect to medical regulation

·      Act as key contributor in knowledge documentation, transfer and sharing.

REQUIREMENTS

·      Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering leaning towards the multi-disciplinary medical devices field.

·      Strong communication skills & excellent teamwork and collaboration.

·      Good technical approach in assemblies and crafting test setups (mechanics, electrical, physics).

·      Excellent English skills in technical documentation (reading and writing).

·      MS Office proficiency.

·      Ability to work and communicate with a broad set of team members of varying knowledge base

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

·      Previous experience in medical device or in clinical environment is an advantage.

·      Fluids mechanics and heat transfer background is an advantage.

·      Programming skills (e.g. SOLIDWORKS, Python, LabVIEW).

The company is located in Nesher, and the position reports to VP R&D.
