About The Role

As a Backend Engineer, you will be design, build, and maintain the backend infrastructure for Factify’s document platform. This key tech role offers a unique opportunity to build, from the ground up, the infrastructure layer of a platform that will disrupt the world of digital documents and redefine the future of documents - everywhere.

You will...

• Design, develop, and implement robust microservices for a scalable and efficient backend architecture.
• Drive the development and integration of functionalities to enhance our product offerings.
• Orchestrate distributed systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Integrate third-party software packages, including open-source and OEM, to leverage external innovations within our systems.
• Manage Docker containers for effective deployment and scaling of our services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure seamless integration of backend services.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on microservices and distributed systems.
• An overwhelming drive to become the best backend engineer on the planet
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python or Node.js.
• Experience in all major cloud platforms, and familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of API design and implementation.
• Experience with database management and caching mechanisms (SQL, NoSQL, Redis, etc.).
• Superb problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
