Cloudinary Labs aims to drive innovation by executing projects and product PoCs through rapid prototyping and market understanding. We’re looking for someone who wants to build great new things and lead others who want to do the same. As the Labs Lead, you will function as a product visionary with an entrepreneurial mindset, leading a small, nimble team in executing ideas, launching projects, and validating them with the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a small, agile team through development and validation phases, fostering a culture of adaptability, excellence, innovation, high performance, and continuous improvement
• Serve as hands-on product lead, managing all product and project-related aspects from idea to launch
• Translate vision into optimal product PoCs that effectively validate hypotheses, ensuring they are actionable and aligned with predefined objectives and KPIs
• Drive the Labs project's success across various stages, including strategic direction, operational execution, market penetration, and project performance
• Create and maintain an ideation pipeline, tracking new market dynamics and transformative technologies to understand their potential impact on Cloudinary
• Define and execute go-to-market launch activities, optimizing market reach and potential
• Gather design partners, customers, and market feedback to understand the potential impact and market fit
• Guide strategic decisions and graduation phases of product PoCs
• Champion Labs and outputs both internally and externally. Fosters cross-functional collaboration with departmental stakeholders and Cloudinary's function heads, getting mindshare, building confidence, and inspiring change
• Develop and implement innovative methodologies, playbooks and repeatable processes
  
  

• Curious and excited by emerging technologies, new market dynamics, and unserved opportunities
• Proven track record in entrepreneurial leadership, with versatile experience in the initial stages of startups, including product development, go-to-market strategy, marketing, and sales
• +7 years experience as a Product Manager with end-to-end responsibilities for a SaaS product (preferably API-based)
• Strategic risk-taker with foresight to create a compelling (yet grounded) product vision, and iteratively executing on it
• Strong people manager with the ability to guide teams through ambiguity, spark creativity, and help them grow in changing environments and strive for excellence
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Vast experience in leading customer-facing engagements
• MBA is a plus
