Position Overview:

We seek an experienced Board Member with expertise in Medical Devices and a robust background in fundraising from angel investors and venture capitalists. This consulting role focuses on guiding our strategic direction and enhancing our fundraising efforts to advance our innovative product lines. The role offers compensation in the form of company options, contingent upon successful fundraising initiatives. This position is remote, with candidates welcome from the US or Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance on the development and commercialization of medical devices.

• Drive fundraising efforts through connections with potential investors, including angel investors and VCs.

• Offer insights on financial planning, risk management, and corporate governance.

• Assist in navigating the startup ecosystem in Israel, leveraging government initiatives and private funding.

• Engage in regular board meetings to review company progress and discuss strategic approaches.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (MD, PhD, MBA, or equivalent).

• Significant experience in the medical devices sector, with demonstrated success in product development and market introductions.

• Strong network within the angel investing and VC communities, particularly with experience in the health tech sector.

• Fluent or native English proficiency is required.

• Excellent strategic, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Must adhere to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Compensation:

• No fixed salary or retainer is provided prior to fundraising.

• Post-fundraising compensation will be in the form of company options.

• Additionally, a pre-agreed bonus will be provided based on successful fundraising milestones and strategic objectives achieved.
