R&D Leader - Architect and Senior Team Leader

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Leader to oversee the architecture and development of our LLM-based banking operating system. You will work closely with our team to create innovative and scalable AI solutions that drive customer service, risk management, and sales optimization for financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of a high-performance and reliable data-driven platform.
• Architect and implement robust APIs and services to support AI-driven features.
• Design and oversee the implementation of data pipelines and the integration of LLMs and other platforms (e.g., agent frameworks).
• Collaborate with AI engineers and product managers to integrate AI solutions.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure and deployment processes, leveraging AWS or similar services.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive financial data.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Combine architectural vision with hands-on development to drive the project's success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Development Lead, Backend Architect, or Senior Engineer in a related industry.
• Strong proficiency in Python, LLMs, and related frameworks.
• Expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security protocols and data protection measures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team with members based in different locations.
• Ability to design and implement architecture to support business needs. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
