Devops Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CI/CD, GitOps, and platform engineering concepts.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing our development processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement across our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Leverage GitOps practices to manage and deploy infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate and optimise workflows.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Kustomize, or similar.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance the performance, reliability, and security of our systems.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes container orchestration platforms across multiple environments.
• Develop and enforce best practices for application and infrastructure security.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents as needed.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our systems remain current and competitive.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps/Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar.
• Extensive experience with GitOps tools and practices.
• Proficient in platform engineering concepts and tools, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills with languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  
  

• Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and functions-as-a-service.
