About the Role:

The Operations department at Innoviz Technologies is responsible for building and operating the hardware manufacturing lines. We are seeking a talented Automation Testing Software Engineer to join our growing Testing and Product Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop testing code, automation scripts, and testing environments using various programming languages.
• Perform installation and integration at contract manufacturing sites, which may be located abroad.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the hardware and software aspects of LiDAR to ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality production tests.
• Ensure high availability and quality of products being shipped to customers.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, and Operations teams within the company.
  
  

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in developing and maintaining automatic testers for both hardware and software.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python, with proven practical experience.
• Strong ability to dive into electrical design and schematics.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary R&D teams.
• Familiarity with embedded development (advantageous).
• Experience working with microcontrollers (advantageous).
• Knowledge of continuous integration tools like Git and defect tracking and task management tools such as Jira.
• System engineering capabilities (advantageous).
• Understanding of manufacturing robots (advantageous).
