Chuppot seeks a Resource Development Manager

The Resource Development Manager will work with Chuppot’s CEO and lay leadership to implement the full grant cycle and take responsibility for the data management necessary to grow philanthropic relationships.

The Resource Development Manager will develop donor-ready materials in English, including proposals, reports and budgets, and will take full responsibility for related data management.

As Chuppot’s Resource Development Manager, You Get To:

•       Write grant proposals and reports, ensuring they are well-written, impact-driven, and tell a compelling story;

•       Draft correspondence, LOIs, and other supporting documents adapting to the needs of each donor and prospect;

•       Work with staff and lay leadership to capture relevant data that informs grant reports and other development material;

•       Prepare detailed and accurate budgets to accompany all relevant donor-driven narratives;  

•       Track grant cycles and donor engagement in an organized and streamlined manner, including coordination of proposal writing and reporting requirements;

This Job Is For You If You:

·      Have demonstrated success in writing successful grants, reports and the full gamut of written donor communications;

·      Have faultless English and impeccable writing skills;

·      Are familiar with data management;

·      Have proven experience preparing detailed budgets on Excel spreadsheets;

·      Can complete projects with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency;

·      Are action-oriented and flexible, and are able to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues;

Chuppot improves religious services in Israel by creating choices and promoting public discourse on the issue, and is the religious voice for religious freedom in Israel. The organization conducts wedding ceremonies, providing services to an ever growing number of couples who are forced to marry without the authorization of the Chief Rabbinate – or choose to do so in an orderly, respectful and responsible manner. It promotes Judaism by choice, and strives to allow every couple to express their wishes in the design of the canopy ceremony within the framework of Halacha.
