In your role, you will focus on web hosting, cPanel, Plesk, Windows, Linux, VPS, Cloud backup, M365, Security and networking.
Requirements:
• Extensive understanding of Web Hosting and everything around it.
• Understanding of the Linux Architecture & Knowledge of Linux Command Line.
• Experience with Domains, DNS, and SSL.
• Some Experience with PHP/MySQL based websites.
• Some knowledge of PHP would be a huge benefit.
• Experience working with Page Builders such as Elementor, Divi and WP Bakery.
• 1-2 years of experience working in technical support position.
• Experience working with open-source content management systems.
• Plesk, cPanel and WHM Experience.
• SSH/SFTP Experience.
• WordPress: knowledge of WordPress, Plugins, and Themes.
• Working experience with NGINX, MySQL, MariaDB, MS-SQL.
• Understanding of the core error codes associated with web hosting (eg. 404 etc)
• Good understanding of an IT backend environment (GPO, MFA, AD, O365, VPN)
• Great communication skills.
• Knowledge of information security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Office365 Admin Center, Anti-Virus\EDR, Cloud Backup.
• Knowledge with virtual cloud servers (VPS) and virtualization environments.
Role Key Responsibilities:
• Provide end-user support, resolving technical issues and provides technical assistance.
• Respond to requests for technical assistance (in person, via phone, email, and ticket support center).
• Technical Order installations and fulfilment.
• Monitor and work with our Help desk support ticketing platform and CRM.
• Working with several management Platforms to support different products & services.
