Financial Director

As the Director of Finance, your role encompasses crucial responsibilities, including the following:

• Formulating a multi-year forecast budget.
• Excel Modeling and Project financing projections
• Financial modeling
• Presentation preparations
• Business development activities
• Developing an annual budget encompassing salary and operational costs.
• Budgeting and projecting in alignment with the work plan.
• Creating cash flow projections and forecasts.
• Ensuring budget adherence, accountability, and monitoring.
• Managing capital raising and investor relations, involving identifying and engaging potential investors in Israel and globally, explaining the company's business model and strategy, and overseeing external valuations.
• Maintaining relationships with foundations, institutions, landowners, and customers while leading the analyst team and managing ongoing tasks.
• Supervising the preparation of the company's financial statements and subsidiaries.
• Managing taxation in Israel and internationally.
• Overseeing accounting, including payroll management.
• Monitoring and authorizing various payments, supplier transactions, and contracts.
• Preparing materials for board approval and summarizing advisory committee meetings.
• Regularly engage with banks and manage payment approvals.
• Compiled quarterly and annual closing reports for the company's investors.
• Documenting company expenses by project, offsetting against partners when necessary.
• Coordinating with external CPA offices and relevant consultants.
• Collaborating with the CTO to monitor the progress of planning, engineering, and finance projects.
• Finalizing contracts with suppliers, including consultants and contractors, in collaboration with the CEO and CTO.

Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/law/business, Master's degree a plus
• Proficiency in English
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance roles
• Investment banking background a plus
• Fundraising background
• Project Financing background
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience in presentation and public speaking
