Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller at Vi, you will play a critical role in overseeing the company's financial activities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and implementing effective financial controls. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Reports to the SVP of Finance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for corporate financial reporting and accounting, including the accuracy of the Company's general ledger and its compliance with GAAP
• Prepare internal and external financial reports and ensure they are timely, accurate, and compliant with GAAP requirements
• Provide operational and technical accounting expertise for the organization to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, Statutory requirements, and Company policies, rules, regulations, and laws
• Summarize findings on the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management, external auditors, and BOD
• Work closely with external auditors and comply with annual statutory audits, government reporting requirements, and tax filings
• Assist in designing, implementing, and improving financial procedures, internal control, and accounting policies
• Assist with the daily ongoing financial operation tasks as cash flow management, payroll, account payables, etc
• Oversee invoicing and account receivables process

Qualifications

• CPA from a Big 4 accounting firm in the Hi-tech field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Expertise in NetSuite, BI systems, and Excel
• At least one year experience in a startup company
