Sr Director Engineering

we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Director of Engineering to join our dynamic team.

TThe Sr. Director of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department, leading multiple teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a seasoned leader with a strong background in managing engineering teams and directors, preferably from major companies in the fintech industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving technological innovation, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies, processes, and best practices to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Manage and mentor a team of managers and directors, fostering leadership and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Operations, and Marketing, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentorship, and professional development within the engineering teams.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure successful project completion.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain the company’s competitive edge.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly in the fintech sector.
• Represent the engineering department in executive meetings, providing updates on project status, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large teams.
• Proven experience in managing engineering teams and directors, preferably within large companies.
• Strong background in the fintech industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technological innovation and manage complex projects.
