Propulsion Engineer

Engineering and Development Division in the Military Aircraft Department is looking for a Propulsion Engineer.

What will you do:

• Responsibility for all aspects of propulsion systems for UAVs developed in the department, from selecting the propulsion system, through ground tests, installation design in the UAV, tests and validations, improvements, and maturation.
• Understanding maintenance and upkeep concepts.
• Supporting department customers.
• Investigating faults and incidents.
• Implementing improvements to increase the reliability and maintainability of propulsion systems.
• Work interfaces include direct and matrix work with customers within and outside the organization.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering fields - mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in propulsion systems - a significant advantage.
• Proven experience in proof testing, ground tests, and flight tests - a significant advantage.
• Knowledge and familiarity with piston engines (2-stroke, 4-stroke, with various fuels) and rotary engines (Wankel) - a significant advantage.
• Proven experience in leading aero-mechanical development projects.
