ARTXP CTO/Technical Co-Founder - Full Stack Developer (Generous equity)

Compensation for this role is initially based solely on competitive equity ownership, with a plan to transition to a salary as the company grows. This position starts with full flexibility- commit the hours that you are available for, work from anywhere. The ideal candidate would transition over time to a full time role and a base in either the UK, Denmark or Israel is preferred but not required.

As Denmark's leading startup for curated creative experiences, we connect talented artists and creatives with individuals, private groups, and companies seeking to book unique experiences and workshops. Our goal is to spotlight creatives, providing them with new economic opportunities, while making art and cultural experiences widely accessible to the general public. Since launching our MVP two years ago, we have supported dozens of creatives in Copenhagen, facilitated hundreds of events, and secured major clients, including Novo Nordisk, Maersk, Levi's, and LEGO who is a x12 returning client. 

About You:

You are an A-Player Full Stack Developer who is ready for a hands-on role with the flexibility to adapt to the needs of a growing startup. As the CTO and Technical Co-Founder of ARTXP, you'll play a crucial role in building and shaping our platform's future.

Role Overview:

With an MVP operational for two years in Copenhagen, your focus will be on enhancing and optimizing our platform while driving future product development to increase user engagement and revenue growth. You'll collaborate closely with the founding team to align technological developments with customer needs and business goals.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in Full Stack Development: Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
• Familiarity with Our Current Tech Stack: Capable of working with PHP, Laravel, Nova, MySQL, Redis; Node, Vue; React, TypeScript, Docker; Go, gRPC, REST, RabbitMQ, Bazel, and have microservice knowledge; Docker, Kubernetes, Traefik, Consul, Nginx, and load-balancing strategies.
• Adaptability & Innovation: Open to integrating and adapting new technologies as needed to support growth. You will have the freedom to explore and integrate technologies that may benefit ARTXP’s expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-End Development: Develop and maintain user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
• Back-End Development: Design and implement server-side logic, manage databases, and develop APIs.
• Integration and Deployment: Set up and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes.
• Testing and Debugging: Write and maintain automated tests, debug issues, and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the founding team to align technological solutions with business goals, ensuring clear explanation of technical concepts whilst driving the company towards its full potential.
• Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and mentor junior developers as we grow.
• DevOps and Maintenance: Manage server infrastructure, monitor production applications, and ensure system reliability.
• System Architecture: Participate in planning and designing system architecture to ensure scalability and performance.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive system architecture, code comments, API specifications, database schema, deployment procedures, user manuals, and maintenance guides. Managing version control, ensuring updates, and enhancing practices for scalability and team growth.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve development processes.

About the Team:

ARTXP was founded by two former Goldman Sachs and Bloomberg professionals, supported by a partner with legal background and deep expertise in the arts and entertainment industry. We have also received initial funding from Denmark's leading accelerator, Accelerace. Our team currently operates in a hybrid model from Israel, Denmark, and the UK.
