Entomology Research Scientist (3080)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join a team for innovative and challenging projects in upscaling insects for organic waste recycling. The ideal candidate will hold a BSc/MSc in entomology or a related field and will be responsible for optimizing insect rearing processes, collecting data, and developing novel protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee insect breeding and rearing operations.
• Maintain accurate records of data across multiple simultaneous activities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations.
• Coordinate entomological activities with interdisciplinary scientists within the company and with partners.
• Conduct experiments focused on insect life-cycle and biological traits.
• Develop new protocols for insect breeding and rearing optimization in continuous large-scale populations.

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc degree in agriculture, life sciences, entomology, environmental studies, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in insect farming.
