Cyber Risk Management Student

Job Description

Intel's Information Security team is hiring a Cyber Risk Management student in Israel.

In this position you will be thinking from an attacker point of view while working to analyse the security risks associated with the implementation of security solutions and computing environment changes. You will participate in new technology reviews and perform supplier reviews and site audits.

You will work with other risk analysts, security architects, engineering teams and management to suggest and implement risk mitigating controls and solutions.

The ideal candidate for this position should have exposure and interest in one or several of the key Cyber Security domains including: Security Management, Governance, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Vulnerability Management, Data Protection, Identity and Access Management, Cryptography, Endpoint security, Security Auditing and other major areas of Cyber Security. Candidates should also be in the process of obtaining a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree.

Having a security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) would be considered a plus.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. student in Information Systems and/or Computer Science, or other relevant field with at least 2 years till graduation.
• Previous Risk Management experience - is a significant advantage
• Availability of at least 2 days/week is required. Some flexibility in working hours will be required for afternoon and evening meetings.
• Effective communication skills in English including written and spoken.
• Knowledge and understanding of information security and risk concepts
  
  

Knowledge and understanding in wide range of information security controls, technologies and architecture

• Strong customer orientation while ensuring information risk management processes are followed. Ability to build long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Influencing and persuading skills across all organizational levels, problem solving and innovation skills.
  
  

Inside this Business Group

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
