What is Obinex?

Obinex is a Pre-Seed stage Startup focused on creating a user-centric ecosystem that bridges the centralized economy and the decentralized space. The goal is to simplify the adoption of centralized solutions in the blockchain world, leading to a more secure and efficient centralized system within a decentralized framework.

What will you do?

As mentioned above, Obinex is a Pre-Seed Startup, so we are looking for a Chief Technology Officer who is passionate about his/her work, willing to work building the teams, designing the plans, aligning strategies, looking for weaknesses to improve them, meeting with the BoD, ambitious, detail oriented (even perfectionist) and above all, willing to commit to the project. This last part is very important as we will be facing a highly competitive and demanding market.

• Technical Architecture Design: Design the architecture of the CEX platform, Blockchain platform, and AI systems, and document system specifications, technology stack, and development standards.
• Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, lead, and mentor a technical team, conduct performance reviews, and promote continuous learning and improvement.
• Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans with timelines, milestones, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Blockchain Development: Lead blockchain-based solutions development, including smart contracts, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• CEX Platform Development: Oversee the development of the cryptocurrency exchange platform, ensuring high availability, low latency, and robust security.
• AI/ML Integration: Integrate large language models and AI algorithms, developing AI-driven features such as chatbots, personalized financial advice, and fraud detection.
• Database and Infrastructure Management: Oversee database design and maintenance for high performance and reliability, manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective use.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect user data and platform integrity, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Technology Strategy and Roadmap: Define technology strategy aligned with business objectives, and develop a technology roadmap outlining key initiatives and milestones.
• Innovation and Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation by experimenting with new technologies and approaches.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate technical strategies to executive leadership and the board, collaborating with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals.
• Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, conduct security audits, and address vulnerabilities.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize platform performance, implementing performance tuning, load balancing, and caching strategies.
• DevOps and CI/CD Implementation: Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
• API and Microservices Management: Design and manage APIs and microservices architecture, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Product Development Collaboration: Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, participating in product design and development.
• Customer and User Experience Enhancement: Ensure seamless and intuitive user experience, implementing features and improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
• Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective resource use and optimizing spending.
• Vendor and Partner Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance standards.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring platform resilience.

What will you bring?

• Technical Expertise: Experience in blockchain technology, consensus algorithms, crypto wallets, CEX & DEX development, AI/ML/NLP/LLM systems development.
• Software Development: Mastery of multiple programming languages (Node.js, React.js, Angular, Vue.js, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Python, Java, C++, Solidity).
• Blockchain Platforms: Experience with Ethereum, Hyperledger, and other platforms, smart contract development, and knowledge of L2/L3 solutions and sidechains.
• CEX Platform Development: Building scalable and secure CEX platforms using microservices and containerization, high-frequency trading systems, order matching engines, liquidity management, and integrating payment gateways and KYC/AML solutions.
• Database Management: Advanced knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, designing and optimizing schemas, and proficiency in data warehousing and big data technologies.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Expertise in deploying, managing, and scaling applications on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with cloud-native technologies and security.
• AI/ML Frameworks: Deep understanding and practical experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools, training, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models and other AI algorithms.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and mentoring technical teams, setting goals, delegating effectively, and fostering a culture of innovation and improvement.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to translate business objectives into a technology strategy and roadmap, evaluating and adopting emerging technologies.
• Project Management: Strong skills in project management methodologies and tools, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Innovation and Problem-Solving: Identifying and solving complex technical challenges, fostering a creative environment, and implementing cutting-edge technologies.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in FinTech and Blockchain industries, implementing security and compliance frameworks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, presenting strategies to executives and investors, and building relationships with partners and regulators.
• Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical risks, developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans, conducting security audits.
• Scalability Focus: Designing scalable architectures, performance tuning, load balancing, and using distributed systems and microservices for scalability.
• AI Integration: Integrating large language models into FinTech applications, applying NLP techniques, and developing AI-driven features.
• DevOps Practices: Mastery of DevOps tools and practices, infrastructure as code, monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Security Practices: Understanding of cybersecurity principles, implementing security frameworks, and using security tools and techniques.
• APIs and Microservices: Designing, developing, and managing APIs and microservices architecture, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
