We are seeking a talented and innovative Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As our first Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance our pricing algorithms, optimize monetization, and fortify our systems against anomalies in pricing and security. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions, has a strong analytical mindset, and possesses the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead data strategist to identify and integrate new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced pricing algorithms to optimize product and service pricing strategies.
• Utilize statistical models, machine learning techniques, and data analysis to recommend pricing adjustments based on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behavior.
• Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for monetization improvement.
• Analyze user behavior, engagement patterns, and market trends to propose and implement strategies that maximize revenue across various business channels.
• Develop and deploy anomaly detection models to identify irregularities and potential fraudulent activities in pricing structures and transactional data.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) are a plus.
• Five or more years of experience in data science
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Strong experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Ability to convey complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• PLUS - Understanding of pricing strategies, revenue models, and monetization practices in relevant industries.
