Junior Hardware Engineer-Board Design

We are looking for a junior Hardware Engineer - Board Design

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility (E2E) on HW design as part of mass production system design:
• Kick off, Product HW specifications and requirements
• Electrical PCB schematics
• Component selection (Design to cost and design to mass production)
• Layout PCB guidance
• Testing documentation
• bring-up process and design validation
• Hands-on development and testing in a lab environment.
• Accompanying production and qualification processes
• Support along product life cycle.
• Customers design guidelines

Requirements

• B.Sc in Electrical Engineering
• 1-2 years experience as Board Designer
• Experience in layout, design bring-up and verification.
• Experience in PCB Design Tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Mentor Expedition, Cadence)
• Familiar with lab equipment (oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Function Generator, DVM)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Advantages

• Experience in Power Delivery Network Design
• Experience in digital interfaces (e.g. SPI, I2C )
• Ability to independently learn, investigate and implement new technologies.
• Knowledge in scripting languages like bash, Python etc – Advantage.
• Experience in Allegro is a substantial- Advantage
